TEN arquitectos is currently hiring a Summer Intern in their NYC office.
In collaboration with J. Meejin Yoon, TEN arquitectos fabricated The Aztec Empire installation at The Guggenheim Museum. Designing around Frank Lloyd Wright's undulating walls, the firm worked to accommodate more than 450 objects in the exhibition.
TEN arquitectos is looking for a 3rd or 4th year undergraduate or graduate school student for their Summer Internship position. The individual will collaborate with the design team in development of concept design through completion of construction.
Höweler + Yoon have listings for a Project Architect and an Office Assistant.
Höweler + Yoon created Swing Time, an interactive playscape composed of 20 illuminated ring-shaped swings. Activating a temporary park. LED lighting within the swing is controlled by a custom micro-controller, signaling the swing’s activity level. When the swing is static it emits a white glow, and when the swing is activated the it glows purple.
The firm is looking for a responsible Project Architect with 5 to 10 or more years of experience, particularly in large-scale building projects. Höweler + Yoon is also seeking an Office Assistant who is motivated, organized and skilled at marketing.
Desai Chia Architecture has an opening for a Junior Architect in their NYC location.
Desai Chia Architecture collaborated with artist Lee Mingwei to create Luminous Depths, a 3-story, 50-foot high, installation in the central atrium of Singapore’s Peranakan Museum. Fabricated from white ropes and steel hoops, the volumes float within the atrium. Visitors are encouraged to take a ceramic object, walk with it throughout the museum, and toss it down the atrium when they reach the top.
The firm is looking for a Junior Architect with at least 1 to 3 years of experience to participate in all phases of design projects. The position is primarily focused on assisting with presentatins and drawing sets for new-construction/single-family homes, commercial interior projects, and competitions.
envelope A+D is now hiring a Project Architect / Designer in their Berkeley, CA office.
PROXY is a temporary open space experiment located in the center of San Francisco’s Hayes Valley neighborhood. Envelope A+D activated two vacant lots as placeholders for something more permanent—exploring the possibilities of a space when the city is unable to develop it. PROXY presents a rotating offering of events, retail shops, art, food vendors, and a Walk-In Theater.
Envelope A+D is looking for a Project Architect / Designer with at least 4 years of experience who is interested in a wide range of architectural production. The individual must be able to work independently with minimal supervision, and also within or leading a small design team.
MESH Architectures has an active listing for a Project Architect.
The firm originally launched JetBlue StoryBooth in Rockefeller Plaza proceeding a multi-city tour of the booth. This installation focuses on consumer participation allowing visitors to enter and record video testimony of their experienced flying JetBlue airlines. The booth incorporates a full LED video display, LED-backlit composite graphic panel sides, and a full interactive video recording system.
MESH Architectures is looking for a Project Architect who considers themselves an inventor with a passion for technology and innovation. The right candidate will have at least 1 year of working experience in NYC and is a creative problem solver.
Studio Luz is looking for a Project Designer in their Boston location.
Studio Luz created The Big Hammock, an 8 ft by 33 ft wide hammock on the Rose Fitzgerald Kennedy Greenway in Boston. The installation relies on a self supporting steel frame and is woven from 100% recycled PET rope. This sculptural lounge space invites the public to play and interact together.
The firms is hiring a Project Designer on a short term basis of 3 to 12 months to help support the firm’s current workload. The right applicant will have at least 2 years of experience and be able to help in all stages of the design process.
FXCollaborative have an opening for an Architect / Construction Administrator along with several other listings.
The firm created FXFOWLE Lounge, a free standing installation launched at the Miami Art Fair. The structure was made up of 180 varying segments that together created complex geometric forms. These segments were preassembled in-house into 19 different ribs, and accompanied by plus bean bag chairs.
FXCollaborative is looking for an Architect / Construction Administrator, among several other listings, with at least 5 to 10 years of experience. The individual will be responsible for all activities related to project construction administration, including reviewing submittals and shop drawings, field observations, reports and change orders.
John Friedman Alice Kimm Architects (JFAK) are now hiring a Junior/Intermediate Designer, a Junior Draftsperson, and a Project Manager.
JFAK designed the Los Angeles Pavilion at the annual Guadalajara International Book Fair, the second largest book fair in the world. The installation featured a set of large, suspended “Idea Bubbles” inspired by cartoon speech bubbles. Ten commissioned films depicting L.A. culture were projected on the Idea Bubbles above the crowd.
The firm is seeking a Junior/Intermediate Designers with 3 to 8 years of professional experience, a Junior Draftsperson with at least 2 years of experience, and a Project Manager with 5 or more years of experience.
Bureau V is currently seeking a Lead Designer / Architect in their NYC office.
In collaboration with MINI LIVING, Bureau V created an absurdist starter kit for the contemporary immigrant in reaction to the current American political climate on immigration. Using humor as its primary method, the project seeks to undermine aggression and to provide at least some respite from the trauma of relocation.

Raad Studio’s Delancey Underground project seeks to transform an abandoned trolley terminal into NYC’s first underground community green space. Beneath one of the least green areas of the city, the Lower East Side, lies a massive, unused space nearly the size of Gramercy Park. This project envisions using an advanced solar technology to channel sunlight underground, enabling plants and trees to grow.
The firm is looking for a Project Designer and Project Manager with 5 to 8 years of experience. The candidates will be responsible for preparing design presentations including sketches and material boards, and working on various drawings.
Arktura LLC has an opening for an Architectural Product Development Internship in their Gardena, CA location.
Arktura collaborated with Formation Association & Terremoto Landscape to create this cat shelter as part of Architects for Animals’ 2017 edition of their “Giving Shelter” event for homeless stray and feral cats. The shelter uses soft sound acoustical material as a water absorptive exoskeleton, housing Spanish moss and Korean grass. These provide both thermal mass and shade, and help create a perfect combination of natural and synthetic.

The Digital Gyre is a collaboration between Parc Office, FarzinFarzin, and IrisVR, which examines the meanings of digital design assets when they are no longer being used. This VR experience debuted at the 7th Architecture and Design Film Festival, giving viewers a chance to explore masses of discarded models using Oculus Rift.
PARC Office is looking for an Interior Designer with 2 to 5 years of professional experience in an architecture or interior design office. The position will comprise of work for retail and hospitality clients with a focus on the selection of materials and finishes, and the development of architectural and millwork details.
