About

I'm currently studying at GSAPP for MS.AAD degree. My academic experience has shaped me into a designer who rigorously seeks innovation and profoundness in both theoretical and practical fields. I'm more of an introvert than an extrovert, but when it comes to architectural discourses, I always actively engage in intelligent discussions with peers and professors. I constantly learn from others' thoughts and revising and critiqueing my own ideas through these dialogues. I especially values discussions with people who have different beliefs in design theory and architecture knowledge. It helps foster my habit to question myself in a beneficial way to enlarge my knowledge base and helps me stay objective and respectful when it comes to the things I've never encountered before.

In terms of hard skills, I'm proficient in fundamental architectural softwares like Rhino, Adobe Suites, VRay, and have been expanding my repertoire by using more advanced softwares/hardwares such as Revit, Grasshopper, Arduino, 3Ds Max and so on.

In terms of soft skills, I'm an honest listener, thinker, collaborator, and teamplayer despite that I am an introvert who talks less. Being an introvert doesn't stop me from being always eager to express creative ideas, but instead, it helps me to constantly revising my own thoughts. I'm a straight-forward person but meanwhile very empathetic and I always treat people in ways I wish myself to be treated with. But whether it's in life or in academic projects, I've learnt through multiple experiences of collaborations with others to honestly face the problems, stay focused on solving the problems, and not let irrational emotions to impair the situation.
