About

Hi! I’m Yaya, a current student in the Urban Design program at Cornell AAP, graduating in August. This degree is preceded by a Bachelor of Architecture. I am actively seeking full-time opportunities as an architectural designer or urban designer.

I've been diving into how cultural, social factors and climate shape New York City and people's living experience. My project, "Infrastructural Rituals", is a testament to my belief in breaking boundaries and creating inclusive urban open spaces. During my graduate studies in advanced urban design, I have become familiar with quantitative methods and gained programming skills in data analysis.

I am not only passionate about urban design and architecture, but also have a keen interest in graphic design and visual representation. My research and design work can be found on my website at: https://yayagou586.wixsite.com/yaya, I would greatly appreciate any thoughts or feedback you might have on my portfolio.
