BACKGROUND

My name is Wuzzy Zach, an architecture designer who has been working on ecological architecture and exploring natural representation in architecture. Apart from professional architectural training, I also have an enormously diverse background from filmmaking, stage setting to glass blowing and printmaking. Regarding design related skills, I’m good at hand drawing, physical modeling, wood crafting and sketching. For digital software, I’m proficient with Rhino, Revit, Lumion, Enscape, CAD, Adobe software, Grasshopper, Sketchup, V-ray etc.

My passion and ambition in design guarantees my persistence in working. I always keep working hard on any design tasks until achieving the objectives. At the same time, my optimism and sincerity also encourage my resilience in challenging situations. Difficult tasks and uncertain challenges only make me focus on my own, more insisting on my continuous endeavor and sticking to the goal. In previous experience, my optimism and willingness to communicate often motivated my peers and team. And I’ve been working hard and keeping self-improvement in daily working and learning.

I’m proficient in various software tools and hand craft skills. Long-time focus on ecological design and sustainable strategy guarantees my ability on simulations and sustainable analysis in architectural design.

My diverse art studies and practical experience over years enable me to possess profound comprehension of design, sensitivity to interdisciplinary design analysis, and design-strategic perspectives, which could contribute to the professional design this job required and building an inclusive and diverse working community. Simultaneously, my multicultural education also enriches my design thinking and broadens the wealth of perspectives.

My working experience in various fields with disparate ways of working improved multiple collaborative and communication skills so that I’m able to find my position and contribute my best performance in any team. Besides, in daily design practice and academic inquiry, my sense of mission and eternal optimism encourage my persistence and resilience, which I believe also plays a significant role in productive and positive teamwork with peers.

I have a good balance between technical execution and conceptual design abilities, which allows me the flexibility to contribute productively to the team. My proficient software and handcraft skills could advantageously realize the team’s design. At the same time, my architectural knowledge and interdisciplinary experience about community engagement and inclusive design would bring professional research, inspiring ideas, and wealth of perspectives to conceptual design.
