About

Masters in Architecture and Urban Design with highest honors from Pratt Institute.

As a registered architect in Turkey, my career began with placing third in a competition that led to my first job offer with a German company. Subsequently, I worked as an intern across various scales and roles, from contributing to a large scale adaptive reuse project with Turkey's premier architecture firm to developing schematic and conceptual design for competitions with an award-winning Finnish firm. My travels have cultivated my adaptability, cross-cultural communication, and problem-solving skills, which I believe are assets in my profession.

During my time at Pratt, I worked as a digital production labs assistant at the School of Design, and a graduate assistant at the School of Architecture along with being the graduate student council representative of my program.

My graduate thesis encompassed a range of projects aimed at addressing complex urban challenges in a neighborhood plagued by systemic neglect. These efforts required data analysis, for which I employed QGIS, to make data-informed design decisions. My work focused on buffering the coast and designing a climate-resilient densified neighborhood to fight the NYC housing crisis by carefully considering the constraints and regulations of the City. My proficiency in design software, particularly Rhino, AutoCAD and Adobe (Ps, In, Il) allowed me to translate my ideas into tangible design solutions.
