City of Phoenix Parklet Design & Build Kit

The City of Phoenix Parklet Design & Build Kit is designed to help local businesses in Phoenix choose a parklet that fits their specific condition yet offers flexibility of colors, configurations, and furnishings. It also allows for a speedy selection, approval, and fabrication process. All details and products needed to construct and install the parklet are provided in the book.

The design of new business models and pre-designed options are making it easier for the city and for businesses to improve Phoenix more quickly than traditional building models.

Design RePublic designed custom graphics, designed and named the book, and helped to curate the set of options available in the parklet itself. By collaborating across 2-dimensional and 3-dimensional aspects of the project, we knit together a unified experience from the book to the parklet itself, setting up a system that can expand further into more street furniture distinguishing Downtown Phoenix.
