About

As an Individual in a Graduate M.S Architecture and design program from Pratt Institute, I have always been fascinated by emerging technology and their potential to transform the way we approach design. My interest in AI, digital tools and softwares has led me to explore various avenues in which technology can be leveraged to create more effective and efficient design workflows.

I have developed a strong understanding of design principles, identifying gaps and problem solving and material properties. I am experienced in using digital tools such as Revit, Rhino, Grasshopper, AutoCAD, Google SketchUp, TwinMotion, V-Ray, Photoshop, etc to create complex 3D models and renderings.

Employment

Mandviwala Qutub & Associates, Mumbai, IN, Architectural Intern

Mandviwala Qutub & Associates (MQA), Mumbai, India
Intern - Architectural Design Team (January – July 2021)

• Worked on schematic and construction drawings for large scale Institutional project (KDMC Hospital, Mumbai).
• Gained an understanding of applying Indian Building codes to projects.
• Designed and created schematic and construction drawings for a terrace of a Residential Bungalow and Renders using Twin
Motion and Photoshop.
• Worked on a residential complex project involving 8, high storey residential towers for Acme Boulevard at Andheri, Mumbai;

Education

Pratt Institute, Brooklyn, NY, US, MArch, Master of Science

GRADUATE M.S PROGRAM
Design Studio – Sustainability, Adaptive Reuse, Prototyping.
• Led sustainability initiatives at House 19, Nolan’s Park, Governor's Island, New York, an iconic historic house that underwent
adaptive reuse. Integrated sustainable systems to achieve zero net energy, addressing climate challenges and promoting
sustainable construction practices.
• Collaborated as a team to develop architectural plans, section drawings, and conducted extensive research. Created a physical
model on 1:4 scale to visualize the design concept and effectively communicated ideas within the group.

Mediums & Fabrication - Focus on 3D Modelling Craft, Fabrication, Assembly, Visualization, Simulation, and Representation as a means to amplify the ability to communicate architectural ideas. (Unreal Engine & Blueprint Scripting)
• Developed an interactive VR Experience showing how concepts from Rhino modelling expanded into an architectural space,
allowing the user to experience it, and then change some spatial or atmospheric effects to show how the space performs.
