The 208 Broad Street project is a historic rehabilitation project that included converting the old 5+dime (Lee’s Furniture) building into new offices for our firm and those of several other professionals.  The building, located on historic Broad Street in downtown Rome, Georgia, has received a complete overhaul.  The previous tenants had left the building in disrepair, to the extent that there were children’s pools scattered throughout the space to collect rainwater inside the building.  Incorporated in the design are refurbished hardwood floor, adaptive reuse of demolished wood, and the reuse of the original front doors as windows in the reception space.
