Zaha Hadid Design, PiM.studio, Chris Dyson Architects, SPARK Architects, and FT Architects are among the numerous designers and artists who created some fancy "barkitecture" for BowWow Haus London, a public exhibition that will support UK-based charity Blue Cross for Pets and the Outdoor Arts Foundation from the U.S.
The exhibition showcases an entertaining mix of dog kennels that range from bejeweled castles to a photo booth. The kennels will be on display in Central London through April 26, when they will be auctioned off during a gala at the Renaissance St. Pancras Hotel. The money raised will help Blue Cross provide care for the thousands of sick, injured, and homeless pets they take in every year. Online bids can be made via The Saleroom now until April 26.
