PBS POV documentary show looked at this growing movement back in 2004 A Family Undertaking.
Frankly, it was inspirational and convincing re: the fact that playing a more active role in helping your loved ones transition from life to death is more humane and practical.
I wonder what happens if someone is buried on a property and then the family tries to sell the property.
