(in puddleseaze) the success of a building does not depend on whether it came in on time or budget. doest not depend on whether the roof leaks or not does not depend on its energy consumption. it directly relates to how many tourists have their pictures taken in front of it. therefore, the only way to judge the success of a building is to do a flickr search.
Yea I think completion date is a good marker. When I was digging I was sad to learn a bunch of my favorites didnt make the cut. And poor Enric Miralles, I really wanted to include one by him too.

Not the the Scottish Parliment building is terrible... but the interior design is just awful. Like Sci-Fi set awful.
