The final leg of my traveling fellowship (see untestedcity.com for more info) includes a stop in Kazakhstan, both Almaty and Astana. I am looking for an English-speaking guide to help me navigate during my visit. I will be looking at new construction that has happened within the last 10 years, and so I am trying to contact architects and planners there. However, this is proving a difficult task. Does anyone have experience working in Kstan? Does anyone know anyone there who might be able to help?
