do i need to get a driver or is it an adobe acrobat thing?
i remember a while ago i did install an adobe program and suddenly the print as .pdf option popped up in the print box in autocad
Acrobat Pro/Distiller would be the best. The hard way would be to print it to .jpg or .eps and then convert it in photoshop or illustrator. There may also be a free pdf printer out there somewhere.

for now im downloading a trial version of acrobat 8
i think it should work. just need to convert a few .dwg files
