Working within the Rail and Transit Systems of the Transportation Division, I participate in both Planning and Design exercises that deal with developing and implementing transportation corridors around public infrastructure such as public rail and bus networks. Working within and outside of California my overall understanding of Urban Design and Architectural Principles are applied to all levels of developments and at any scale.
MSA Consulting, Inc., Rancho Mirage, CA, US, Planner
Working within the Planning Department of MSA, I assisted and produced land planning frameworks, entitlement strategies and environmental consulting services. My combination of education and experience brought creative ideas to projects through the design process. Being a member of a team, we took pride in our ability to identify issues associated with a proposal by being attentive listeners that allowed us to pose creative solutions while effectively guiding client’s through the entitlement maze. Being able to work directly with clients and project consultants my ability to foresee and dissolve issues helped keep project on time while producing project submissions with no errors. I was also granted access in working directly with municipalities by assisting them with their own city processes.

As an invited young professional my task ranged between schematic design to finished documentation, project exploration, and presentation. I also participated in project reviews and recommendations. During my 18 month stay I was included on 11 different projects. Projects included and not limited to historic preservation and area renewal, industrial park development, land planning and programming, new entertainment districts, new government centers and CBD development.
Working along side project managers, city employes and representatives, private developers and other government bodies my designers were strengthened to meet and expand regulations and policies.
Lehrer Architects, Los Angeles, CA, US, Project Designer
While working at Lehrer Architects I was offered an overview of both the practice of design and of business of architecture. My day was divided into three parts assisting the director of marketing, playing executive assistant to the office president and finally assisting project managers and designers.
