Currently I work for Gensler Los Angeles where I am a designer in the workplace studio. My studio specializes in landlord services. We do a variety of architectural and interior work such as test fits, space planning, schematics, design development, construction documents, and construction administration. I have worked on a variety of work that ranges in scope fromoutdoor malls to small spec suites.

Gensler, Los Angeles, CA, US, Performative Facade Research Project

I was responsible for designing facades using fiber reinforced polymer and exploring the duality of a cladding system that is also occupiable. The first part of the research project included the development of booklet that compares FRP to other comparable materials such as precast concrete, glass fiber reinforced concrete, and ultra high performance concrete. I created and updated design packages of the most current iteration. I used Rhino, VRay, Grasshopper, and Adobe Creative Suite to complete the tasks.

I was responsible for the design and construction of physical models for various projects. I used woodworking technique, laser cutting, digital modeling, and 3D printing technology to build the models. I also assisted with presentation renderings for an internation residential project.

I was the teacher assistant for Environmental Systems I Graduate level and Environmental Systems II Graduate and Undergraduate levels. I also was the teacher assistant to Making and Meaning, a summer program for students interested in architecture. My responsibilities included preparing lectures, grading exams and projects, developing scripts in Grasshopper to simulate daylighting and solar heat gain, working with students after hours to complete projects, and participating in reviews.
