About

I have experience in all areas of architectural design services, but mainly overseeing projects from the design development phase thru the construction documentation, bidding, and construction administration phases. I have coordinated with owners, to produce preliminary designs for their projects, with multiple engineering consultants in the production of design development and construction documents, including building specifications. I have extensive experience with general contractors and construction managers in the bidding process, in-house construction administration (shop drawings / pay requests / bulletins / change orders) and site observation reports and field inspections as well. At every firm, I’ve served as either the CAD manager or CAD Leader, which gave me the responsibility to produced and maintain CAD standards and developed CAD libraries to increase firm productivity.  I have experience with most Autodesk software products and some Mirostation, also I am proficient with the latest Microsoft Office software. I served on the Manatee Technical Institute’s Drafting Advisory board for three years, and oversaw and judged many high school and college level drafting competitions. The architectural project types that I have produced, are in the Educational K-12  (7 years), Criminal Justice (5 years),  Commercial/Retail (5 years) and Industrial (3 years) areas; see Project List for a complete list of projects. I have worked in small firms (4-7 people) to a large 15,000 person international A/E firm; see below for the complete list and dates of employment.
