My name is Abigail Cindy Chen & I have involved in interactions with international architects and designers from all across the US, Dubai, China and Southeast Asia on daily basis as well as non-architects. I have personally worked on various types of constructions from residential (landed & high rise), commercial, industrial, mixed-used & master planning in Singapore, Dubai, China, Malaysia & Indonesia. I have experienced a full process of construction from inception up through construction as well to some of these projects along with other professionals, consultants, clients & suppliers.
I graduated from Woodbury University, California in May 2012, majoring in architecture. In college, I went LACC and studied business as well. I have incredible memory; quickly learn all aspects of new architecture and design.
I have a reputation in maintaining B grade in Architecture design studio classes and a history of providing clear, polite and positive communication with diverse people, faculty and students. I passed my portfolio review & entered a National architecture design competition.
I work in MAC & PC platform and currently using 3D printing, Laser cutting and DIGITAL FABRICATION techniques to produce my models.
I strongly believe in architecture that not only embraces structure and function, but also the consideration of sustainability. To satisfy the contemporary ethos a building should be constructed in a manner which is environmentally friendly in terms of the production of its materials, its impact upon the natural and built environment of its surrounding area and the demands that it makes upon non-sustainable power sources for heating, cooling, water and waste management and lighting.
