About

I am a recent graduate of the Harvard Graduate School of Design 2016. I have studied and worked within a wide spectrum including architecture, theater, scenic design, art, wood and metal working. I have a deep understanding of how things are designed and built, and am always questioning how things done, and how they might be done differently.

Employment

Payette, Boston, MA, US, Designer

I worked mainly as a designer on the New Science Center for Amherst College. From its concept through its completed construction documents, I played a key role in design decisions, schematics, and detailing. My largest contribution was the perforated, weathering steel fins which screen the campus face of the building, filtering it into the landscape and the red brick context of the campus. I developed strong relationships with the principle and project architect because of my work ethic and unique perspective. As their go-to designer, I conceptualized two new projects with them in Miami and Lafayette.
