Brief background/experiences
I would like to think I have a fresh new look on the world. I didn't grow up in a typical family and didn't have most luxuries. Now I live in a place that is known for actracting people with only dollars in their pockets. I go to a school that most kids didn't struggle to get were they are today. I feel like I've done much more then most people do in a life time, but I still ended up in the same place as they did. I am a suborn person and I expect a lot out of life and I want to do great things.
Why you chose your school/program
I grew up in South Carolina and never really left the state. When I decided to study architecture at Pratt because of a random post card that was sent to me. I didn't know much about the place and I never even traveled past the boarders of the South, but still I only applied to this one school. I gave up a full ride that I would have if I stayed in my home state, but I don't regret this decision and thankfully it wasn't a mistake.

I wanted to be a architect as a kid because my family never had their own home. My dad was a part of the air force and once he retired we lived in trailers. I never felt like a belonged to a place and almost felt detached from things. At first architecture was an excuse for me to design a dream home that I never had. Then once I learned what architecture was about, it manifested itself into something much more for me.
