Finally starting to make some sense of the whole project.
At first i was struggling to make a connection between the radio, the demographics and a built form of any kind.
I guess old modernist approach helped a lot...all i had to do was plot on a map the areas of highest pedestrian movement and stasis to determine where i would place whatever i was going to design...
This knowledge actually helped me to determine what was needed in that particular area, so all i had to do was design it. some may not agree with this approach, but i was pretty stuck, so...
Anyway, i have a few ideas as far as the actual deisgn will be, but i have to:
-research into acoustic transmission systems, specially ultra thin speakers
-start using cinema 4d
The fact that i could not power up my laptop for the past 3 days did not help.
By the end of the week i hope i'll be able to post some images of my progress on cinema 4d!
