The 2-week community design build project with instructors Steve Badanes , Jim Adamson, and Bill Bialosky wrapped up last weekend.
It concluded in an inauguration on Friday for a small outdoor pavilion. It was a push almost to the eleventh hour, ahhh but the sweet savor of success.
Its a really nice two tone wood assembly (some sticks with a diluted black wash & others left unfinished) complimented with a translucent corrugated decking on top of some perlins.
That whole affair was followed up with a gathering at David Sellers' house, the Temple of Dindor (sp? Dendur) & Archie Bunker--a surreal/rad site, complete with pitch and put. As well, some pearls of wisdom were dropped. And, Adamson demolished all leg wrestling on-comers. I need to get photos up soon, so stay tuned!
