Bio: | I grew up in a suburban city in western Canada (Edmonton, Alberta), and studied a mixed-bag of sociology, visual arts, and sciences at the University of Alberta before transferring to McGill University's undergraduate architecture program. In my first semester at McGill, I started auditing an upper-year history course that really interested me. I decided to transfer into McGill's History and Theory of Architecture master's-level program--after all, it was only a year--and ended up enjoying it so much that I am just now, six years later, finishing a PhD in that same program.
As of Fall 2009, I'm starting an M.Arch.I at Harvard's Graduate School of Design. If you want to hear about my adventures and misadventures at this institution, please check out my blog for the Architect School Blog Project.
