The flight pattern background is played out. But I love the blocking and stacking of the type.

The poster combines design and information fairly well, but looking at it just makes me think I've seen this all before.
and why do the front and the back of the poster have the same background image (and what is that anyway, looks like all of Delta's crappy flight patterns)

Why does the poster even need a back? is it displayed in a two sided glass case or something?

I do like the overall design. The colors are bold and subtle at the same time and overall its pretty easy to read. They also have a great line up of lecturers!
