Lyon/Szot Architecture D.P.C. is an architecture office focused on the design and execution of exceptional work. Our office is driven by an unbounded curiosity about the relationship between people, contemporary culture, and the built environment. Our best work operates across different scales and programs to respond to challenging contexts and complex content. We see our ability to collaborate as key to realizing the designs we create.

We are seeking talented Senior level architects and designers to join our team. Staff designers and project managers work with the firm principals to develop projects from concept to realization, generating progress studies, bid and filing drawings, and design material for client presentations. Project staff engage the entire range of the office’s creative workflow through sketching, parametric design, digital modeling, rendering, drafting, physical model making, and prototyping.

The ideal candidate is one with strong design skills and a point of view that complements the practice, is curious, detail-oriented, hardworking, and eager to get their hands dirty. The position offers numerous opportunities to contribute meaningfully to the work of the office. Senior Designers/Architects are expected to lead projects and be intimately involved from concept through completion.

  • Strong proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Rhino, and Adobe Creative Suite.

  • Ability to work independently, lead the internal team when needed and coordinate with external consultants.
