Looking to volunteer/work with community design in LA. Just moved into town and can't seem to find any resources on this. I know of other cities that have a non-profit organization dedicated to community design or community green design. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

I do find it strange that there isn't anything obvious like that in LA, I've always thought the west coast is supposedly more ahead of the game in terms of such groups.
