everybody will say different things.
And this board is full of information (almost too much to reasonably search through).
And schools are slowly (or quickly) changing directions.
The best way to do this effectively is to:
A) Talk to people you trust (Professors, employers, friends) to see what their thoughts are
B) Look at the school's web pages, and the work produced and courses offered
C) Look at the faculty at the schools you're looking into to see what they're doing. A shift in faculty can quickly change the shift of a school (depending on the school)
Similarly, find architects who you think are working in a meaningful (or at least interesting) direction and see where they teach.
