Does anyone have experience working for the military as a civilian architect?

Know anyone who has? or know what the work is like? Project types, buzzcuts, marching, etc...

Just curious..

yeah, got a classmate working for the marines in Camp Pendleton. project types seem to be standard USACE cut-n-paste barracks, hq, and support buildings. go to FBO.gov to see examples of the typically USACE building package in any of the RFPs. But hey, Harry seems very happy.

I interviewed for a position like that. Craziest interview ever! It was a different atmosphere...I think the typical employee probably fits the engineer personality type mroe than architect...

Please capitalize the M in Marines when using it.

Thanks.
