is it possible to hide/remove the object seams (in addition to the isocurves)? thanks y'all

There are different methods depending on the viewing mode. If you are in Rendered Mode go to Options, then Rhino Render then deselect Render surface edges and isocurves (if you want to keep the edges, leave this selected but go into Object Properties, Object menu and deselect Visible under Isocurve Density, or change Density to 0).
For all other viewing modes, go to Options, then Appearance, Advanced Settings, the viewing mode you want to change, and then deselect Show isocurves. As far as I know, there is no way of turning off the seams in these modes for normal nurbs (poly)surfaces though you can turn off mesh wires.
