as a huge bowie fan, (especially early bowie) this is tough to watch.
things get out of hand when he doesn't have the 12-string to rein him in...the creepy dancing just reminds me of Monty's dance quintet from The Big Lebowski...
mott the hoople actually copped bowie's sound pretty well. but none of these folks are as slick or were able to manipulate their image as well as bowie was always able to do.

one of the best bowie impersonators ever was peter murphy of bauhaus...and bauhaus also did a kickin' version of 'telegram sam' in the 80s. (sorry, all the live versions have crappy sound recordings.)
