for the past two weeks ive been watching City of Men, the Brazilian produced tv spinoff of City of God. its f cking incredible. Last night i happened to watch episode 6, "two tickets to brasilia". although there were only a few scenes in Brasilia, it had some nice shots of the National Congress.
its available on netflix. if you cant wait for the dvd its available on "watch now" Netflix, City of Men
kid has got game for sure - spent two days walking around brasilia a couple of years ago - it was magical, the man was way before his time - baller king
check out his house. look at basement plan. overlay first floorplan. everytime i use this as a precedent in design, there's that moment when the student looks at it and it takes about a minute. then the blushing starts.
walking on that stair is like a dream - terrifying and real like no other
so many instances of greatness in his work. the guard told me exactly
what time to arrive and he put me in with an escorted tour - bom gia
does that house in CA have a roberto burle marx garden? glad that it
survived.
I have never been there. so I would not know very much, however I thought the general view of it was that it was a failed plan. It is a massive empty landscape with art pieces (buildings) scattered around it. I seem to remember being told by a professor that there are hardly places for pedestrians to walk! Is this not true?
Oscar Niemeyer
Just picked up his houses book...guy is a baller

none the less mdler...all inspired by beautiful women.....

"Just picked up his houses book...guy is a baller"
If someone said the same thing 50 years ago and it would have been just as true.
i wish i was a little bit taller
archmed that's because true ballers are timeless!!
i wish i was a baller
i wish i had a girl who looked good
i would call her
i wish i had a rabbit in a hat with a bat
and a '64 impala
