TSUNAMI...how to Help...manually

Gotan

Hi,
I was supposed to go to Thailand on the 29th of Dec at Khao Lak for a Diving Trip. Khao Lak was Thailand's worst hit place on Dec 26th. I postponed the trip feeling quite mess up as well as feeling lucky of not being part of the ''history''.

Therefore I do feel I need to give back something.

Sometimes I think about getting my backpack ready, add up a few hammers and drills in it and get going to a Tsunami affected country to help out villagers.

What are the ressources for doing this?
Anyone here willing to join up?
Should I bring my laptop to help out getting construction documents out?

Anyways, I would be happy to talk more about this
and maybe to join with a participating ONG in need of architect or even to go there on my own.

good for you, gotan. some life you have where you were initially off to go diving in khao lak, and now have the freedom (or will) to up and off to thailand to help others. I wish I had the bollocks.
