I'm looking for a sublet or roomshare situation near Columbia from around 5 July through 7 August 2009. I'm doing the Intro to Arch summer studio. Ideally I'd stay a few extra days on the tail end, but have some flexibility as it is an awkward block of time.

I'm hoping to avoid paying what Columbia is asking for housing ($1200-1400).

I'm a 25 year old guy, responsible and fairly neat, essentially just looking for a place to sleep and bathe on the cheap.

I'd also be interested in hearing any creative alternatives such as apt-hostels in the area of recommendation.

Also, if there are any other people who will be in this summer's studio, send me an email or leave a post if you're also interested in living in off-campus housing.

You should also ask them to provide you unlimited us of their vechicle...being it capable of escaping the city on weekends.
