Award winning European design and development group is currently interviewing for experienced architects with strong 3dmax skills. The ideal candidate would have exceptional design and presentation skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work independently on multiple project fronts simultaneously.

A degree in architecture with a minimum of 5 years postgraduate experience is required. Strong verbal and graphic communication skills with the enthusiasm to contribute to design dialogue and the determination to continue to problem solve and improve on design are a must.

This is a unique opportunity for a self-starter to be involved from the ground up on a large-scale mixed use upstate development. Total new construction is anticipated to be 1 million square feet over 900 acres.  Work would include design of exterior, interior, and landscape components for residential, hotel, hospitality, community market, and event space use.

Qualifications;

  • Professional degree in architecture with minimum 5 years of experience with designing and detailing projects.
  • Strong skills in Conceptual Design, Building Planning, Programming, Detailing, and Presentation.
  • Experience in the preparation of Schematic Designs through Construction Documents.
  • High proficiency in 3dMax is required.
  • Fluency with AutoCAD and Adobe suite is strongly preferred.
  • Highly organized with an eye for detail, strong technical knowledge, and design sensibility a must.
  • LEED sustainable design experience and New York State residential and commercial building code knowledge a plus.
  • Knowledge of material application and detailing required.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and multi-task with minimal supervision.
  • Passion and enthusiasm for design excellence.
  • Strong commitment to design and technical quality.
  • Residential or hospitality project experience.
  • Ability to be collaborative and be pro-active.
  • Legal working status in the United States required.
  • Professional registration a plus.

Base salary will be in the $120-150k range, depending on experience, full benefits, 3 weeks vacation and you will be required to work in their NYC office 5 days a week.
