The firm is currently searching for candidates who are interested in working on a variety of project types to join our vibrant studio culture, including public and mixed-use projects, multi-family, and single family residential. We are seeking a project architect / project manager with 7+ years to be based in a new Western Massachusetts-based regional office, though open to candidates of central MA
We are looking for an individual with strong leadership and excellent management skills, as well as strong design and graphic sensibilities. Experience with built projects within the State of Massachusetts is required, and specifically within the municipal, housing, aviation, retail, and/or transportation sectors. Additionally, experience with public project procurement in Massachusetts, specifically projects built under Chapter 149, is a must.
Candidates for this position should be professional, flexible, self-motivated, articulate, amiable, and able to work with and direct a larger team. Massachusetts / California state licensures and LEED accreditation are preferred, but we are open to candidates that are on a pathway toward licensure / accreditation; however, please note that individuals without a license will be considered as a Project Designer rather than a Project Architect/Manager.
The candidate should be experienced teaming on various complex project types as well as managing day-to-day operations within the context of a small office. Experience with business development, contracts, and marketing is a plus. An advanced degree in architecture is preferred.
