Freyer Collaborative Architects PLLC is an architectural design firm located in Lower Manhattan (FIDI) with projects primarily in New York City but also around the globe. We are a small firm, 9 people with a strong focus on Design. The majority of our work being high end residential, new construction and renovations, including lofts, apartments, townhouses, Penthouse additions and building conversions. We design ground up as well as renovations. We also work in the hospitality field.
Who We Are Seeking:
Applicants must have a minimum of 5 years of experience working in an office in the US.
Applicant must have a professional degree in Architecture from an accredited school. Either a Bachelor of Architecture (5 year) or Master of Architecture degree. This position is for someone with a strong design sense who is detail oriented.
This position may be Client facing and will also interact with contractors.
Requirements:
Strong Knowledge of Construction Documents, working drawings and detailing is a must. Must be able to show full set of working drawings and demonstrate understanding of putting together a set. Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD is required. Photoshop, Illustrator, and other graphics programs are helpful but not required. Ability to communicate design ideas and direction quickly and clearly to clients and design team, including the ability to hand sketch is important.

We are working primarily in the office with flexibility to work from home on a part time/hybrid basis as well.
